Visiting the Shop

Access to the shop is at ground level via an 83cm-wide door, which accommodates most wheelchairs. The shop occupies the ground floor and basement, with new books on the ground floor and second hand books downstairs. The first half of the ground floor is wheelchair accessible, and the rear half of the ground floor is composed of two 63cm-wide aisles. Our till is positioned next to the door, and if requested we’ll be happy to retrieve anything from our shelves that you wish to see.

Attending an Event

Events at Pages are held in our basement. Sadly, due to the building’s structural limitations, this space is not wheelchair accessible. The basement is accessed via 12 stairs with a handrail on the left-hand side. Seating at our events is unreserved, but please contact us if having a reserved seat would be helpful to you.

Those speaking will typically use microphones and our small PA system should ensure that they can be heard clearly by all attendees.

There is a gender-neutral toilet on the ground floor (upstairs from the basement).
